Transpersonal psychotherapy is for people from all walks of life who are seeking answers to a variety of life’s challenges. Often misunderstood as therapy for the mind, psychotherapy is actually therapy for the soul. This work helps my clients to:
- heal deep, subconscious wounds
- shift patterns of struggle and sabotage
- release anxiety, panic and trauma
- identify habits that spiral into negative behaviors
- unblock stagnant energy in relationships and projects
Transpersonal psychotherapy will support you as you:
- cultivate a crystal clear understanding of your purpose
- become a positive creative force
- have more money, and feel abundant
- wake up every morning excited, with energy and in gratitude
- be truly loving, and truly loved
- deepen your mind-body-spirit connection
- learn to really trust yourself and life
The essence of psychotherapy is about creating a safe holding space in which the client is seen, heard and received compassionately. Most humans long for this and often this didn’t happen when we were small. People seek psychotherapy when they’re experiencing challenges in relationships or at work, a transition, grief, anger, addiction or trauma. The therapist listens on many levels in addition to mirroring the client’s feelings, thoughts and body cues and, at times reveals parts of the clients reality that have not been acknowledged. Each fragment of the client is given space. In this way, chronic patterns become unstuck and compassion and understanding for the self enters. All the disallowed aspects of self such as hurt, delight, sadness, anger, rage, strength, peace, shame, vulnerability and jealousy are welcomed and explored. As old patterns are released, whole new spaces open for wonderful new experiences to enter the client’s life. Are you ready to get curious about your one sacred life?
My expertise is in transpersonal psychotherapy, which offers deep respect for the client’s spiritual, cognitive, emotional and physical aspects. According to the transpersonal perspective, the problem holds the solution; the darkest dark contains within it a seed of light. After experiences of loss or ego death, rebirth inevitably follows.
I am trained in a thorough understanding of the inner child. For most people, there are significant themes in their current experience that connect back to their early history. Together, we skilfully trace these threads. Awareness is the beginning of changing outmoded patterns. We create a space so the inner child woundings and longings can come forth and be received compassionately. Sometimes it is appropriate to do expressive work; when the client is ready to go beyond dialogue, we can employ other techniques such as breathwork, bodywork or spontaneous art.
